Being intentional about restoring JOY...to technology
Since 2001, Menlo has pursued returning joy to technology. Our mission is to end human suffering in the world as it relates to technology.®
In order to do this, we need to answer two big questions for every project we do.
Who are we serving?
We've learned that our stakeholders fall into one of three groups: end users of technology, project sponsors, and project teams.
What will delight them?
How do we delight? Let's take a minute to look at the flip side.
End Users
End users too often have no voice in the design of the technology they use. Instead, they live every day with decisions made by people who apparently live on another planet. (If you've ever gone through an automated checkout line or tried to set up a new TV, you know all about this.)
Project Sponsors
Project sponsors struggle and often fail to steer projects to a successful conclusion before money and executive patience are exhausted.
Project Teams
Project teams typically labor under years of overtime, missed vacations, and unrealistic expectations, only to have their projects canceled.
